Ci ha scritto nuovamente l'artista danese Nis Jessen delle bellissime tavole che andranno a comporre la versione illustrata di Sir Arthur Conan Doyle A study in Scarlet e di cui vi abbiamo parlato qualche giorno fa. Ieri l'autore ha ricevuto la conferma da Catherine Cooke - capo bibliotecaria della Sherlock Holmes Library di Marylebone Road (Westminster Libraries) - che sarà proprio lei ha scrivere la quarta di copertina di questa prestigiosa opera (una tavola sarà presente anche sul n. 4 della Sherlock Magazine). Qui di seguito, per i più curiosi, ecco il testo della Cooke: "Dear Nis, It was good to hear from you. The picture you sent is absolutely stunning - most wonderfully atmospheric. I sympathise with you over proff-reading. It is far from being my favrourite job. I would be honoured to write the Introduction for the back of the cover. I'd appreciate it if you could give me an idea of the number of words you need and what sort of thing you'd like me to cover- the genesis / publication history of the book, with an eye on previous illustrations, culminating (the word is not too strong) in your new edition? Oh, and what date you need it by! Catherine"
